๐ 7 years of HEY Email

It almost feels like yesterday when the HEY email service launched. I cannot believe that it has been 7 years since the service launched and I have been subscribed since launch. There was a brief period where I unsubscribed, but as you can tell from the image above, I have stayed true with HEY.
I got my [email protected], which is nice. However, I never use that email address. Most people or services that require an email address, I use my own custom domain. I am lucky to own myfirstname.com and mysurname.au so thats where my email address lives. That is a good thing because if I ever have to move, I can roam freely. Own your address....
HEY isn't without controversy, but one thing that has not changed is that the Hey email service still brings me joy....
I would like HEY to get more love and care; specifically, improvement in search would be appreciated. In addition, it should allow the full use of my domain with no restrictions, all in one account, the way Fastmail does. And for that reason, currently, all my custom domains are on Fastmail which forward emails to HEY and using Fastmail SMTP servers, I can email from HEY as well.
Reliability has been top notch.
With introducing the Family Plan, the cost is manageable too.
At this point, I think I am here to stay for the long haul. Then again, who really knows ๐คทโโ๏ธ
