🟠 A life I will not have

Have you wondered if you could live a different life? Every so often, I look out the window and think about the different lives others are living...We all live our lives a little bit differently. I am not referring to our jobs, etc. I am referring to actually living a life. For example, some of us are constantly travelling for work and spend more time at the airport than they do at their homes. Some of us basically live and work from home. Recently, I have been finding the VAN life and life in a tiny home very interesting. People around the world have chosen to live in a van or live in a tiny home. YouTube has been the window through which I have been vicariously living these lives. Allow me to highlight two YouTube channels that I have found interesting: - Alex Armitage (a professional photographer who lives in a van)
- Living Big in a Tiny House (these guys travel the globe seeking the very best of tiny homes) If I reflect on the life I have lived thus far, I do not believe there was ever an opportunity that was available to me which would have allowed me to live in a van or in a tiny house.

As I grow older, I would love to downsize to a tiny home in a quiet place which has forest rain sounds etc. My wife is basically not interested in either of it. She also thinks that I like the idea of living such a life, but I cannot live it when the opportunity arrives. She says, she knows me better than I know myself. There is some truth to that. Anyway, my plan is to book (Airbnb) a one-week stay in a tiny house and actually see how l like it or dislike it.
Btw, I have often wondered, if one lives in a van, where does one shower.. I shower twice a day so that life is certainly not practical for me.
