🎥 Dune: Part Two

It probably has been over 3 years since my wife and I watched a movie in the cinemas (excluding the one instance where we went with my extended family).

My dear wife agreed to join me in watching this movie in our local cinemas. We both took the day off from work. My son was in child care.

Before, the movie, we watched a recap of Dune Part One on Youtube. My wife seemed somewhat interested, but I knew this is not the kind of movie she prefers. In my defence, there weren't many options. Ironically, after watching the recap, I was not as excited. I had even forgotten the story line of the original movie (released in 2021). 

Anyway, obviously the expectations were super high and unfortunately, for me, I just couldn't find myself engaged with the storyline. Perhaps I was not in the right frame of mine.

Considering my lack of engagement with the story, it's unlikely I will see Part Three in the cinemas. Maybe it's something I watch at home, in the comfort of my La-Z-Boy.
