Today, wasn’t as eventful as the other days because we were moving to
another AirBnb. This AirBNB isn’t as good as the other one but it will
have to do. We are only here for two days. Moving can be a pain in the
ass. So much packing to do and then, unpacking.
Our day started with enjoying spectacular views of Lake Wakatipu, the town, and soaring peaks. Two years ago, this place did not disappoint and this time around , it was even better. The Gondolas have been upgraded to accommodate 10 people at once.
The highlight for me was enjoying tap beer at the top of the world in 5 degrees freezing temperature.. I do love my beers 🍻
My wife was hesitant to go but after the first ride, even she got in the swing of things and really enjoyed it. The luge is just so much fun. We went three times and only stopped because the place we parked was costing us NZD13 an hour.
