Just like yesterday, I went to my cousin’s place to watch the 2nd semi final.
Yesterday’s semi final was a better match then the one today.
England lost this match rather than Argentina 🇦🇷 winning. They went defensive too quickly. Something Spain didn’t do.
The 1st half was a tense battle with both sides not able to capitalise.
2nd half was eventful but the action was all in the last 7 minutes.
If I am being honest, neither team are my favorite. Actually, I do not have a favorite team because I only watch soccer during the FIFA World Cup. Despite this, I wanted England to win.
Why?
Because it has been 60 years since they won and Argentina had won the last World Cup. This isn‘t a valid reason. However, there are literally millions of England fans that have never seen their team win the World Cup. I suppose, I thought, they are overdue for a win.
Not this year. Maybe 2030.
The World Cup final is on Monday 5am. I am hoping for a Spain win.
Why?
I like Spanish food and because I enjoyed their game (1st semi final) compared to Argentina.
May the best team win. All I want is a cracker of a match where it’s the battle of two giants and I want both teams to fight for the CUP.
