🕴️I wore a suit after 1330 days

🛟 life

Suits and I just do not get along. Whenever I wear one, I just do not feel comfortable. I basically feel that I am pretending to be someone else. Thankfully, since starting my career (over 14 years ago), I am not required to wear a suit daily. The only exemption to this is when meeting clients, which occurred a few times a year pre-covid.

I last wore a suit in November 2020 for a job interview. Although the interview didn't go as well as I had hoped, I still managed to get the job. Sometimes, things work out and that is nice.

That changed today. I had a virtual meeting (via WebEx) with a client. This was an introductory meeting, and I thought, it's best if I make a great first impression. I woke up bright and early, ironed my shirt. Regrettably, the shirt was tight. However, I was able to manage it because I was wearing a suit. The tie was a very snug fit. If I say so myself, I looked good but still felt odd.

The meeting went smoothly. It lasted only 40 minutes. Like the FLASH, I changed into my normal attire. Instantly, I felt great but looked not so hot anymore 🤣
