I cannot tell you how many times I have watched this show. Being a huge Sherlock fan, this by far is the best adaptation. Nothing comes close and this is not up for debate.
Therefore, you can imagine my excitement when I discovered that BBC actually launched a 4K version, sadly only for Season One.
Nonetheless, I couldn’t find it anywhere locally and places like Amazon were selling it at unreasonable prices.
Thankfully I found a brand new version for less than AUD25 delivered. This isn’t cheap but I was more than comfortable paying that much.
By the way, as far as I know, none of the Australian streaming services (including Netflix etc.) are streaming the 4K version of Sherlock.
Clearly these are first world problems.
But, as a mere civilian, it’s these little joys and little wins that make me happy. I don’t ask for a lot.. most of the time 😜
