When my wife was pregnant, I found this at a gift shop at my local
shopping centre. The gift shop was closing down and, as such, was having
a huge sale. At the time, I figured it would make a beautiful gift. It's
an angel holding her child.
In spite of that, I didn't end up giving it to my wife. There isn't a
logical reason behind it. It was partly fear. I wanted to avoid jinxing
anything since pregnancy is full of surprises. Typing this now doesn't
actually make sense to me, but why take any chances.
This is what I stumbled upon while organizing my study's wardrobe.
Obviously, I completely forgot about.
Today, I felt compelled to keep it for myself in my study, rather than
giving it to my wife. It feels warm and good to my angel wife
and my son so close to me.Â
