ðº ShÅgun
ðº tv
Last week, while browsing on DisneyPlus, I found a show called ShÅgun.
Lately, tv shows have been
disappointing at best. Therefore, I had a low expectation of this show.
However, the show pleasantly surprised me. Few years ago, I played Ghost of
Tsushima  on my PS5. That game managed to immerse me
in the world of Japan in a way that no other game has. The same applies
to ShÅgun. From the beautifully designed sets to to the delicately
crafting clothing, it is created with so much care. I watched 10
episodes in 3 days.
Usually, I whinge that I do not have time for TV. Well, the truth is, like anything else in life, we make time for things that we really want.
I do not want to spoil anything for anyone but all I will say is that if
you are remotely interested in Japan and/or its culture; you owe it to
yourself to at the very least check out its trailer on YouTube.
The show's ending was not as impressive and was anti-climatic
but the journey it took me through its 10 episodes was simply
extraordinary.
