📺 The Night Manager

Wikipedia link This is a British spy thriller first aired in 2016. I just finished watching this show. It is superb and a shame on me. It took me so look to enjoy this fantastic show. There is something some elegantly sophisticated about British tv shows. This one is no different.  Also, it took me some time to release that the lead actor is also well-known for his rendition of Loki in the marvel series. He has done well. Good for him 😄. If you have not watched this show, do yourself a favour, set aside a weekend, grab some red wine, cheese platter and just chill.

This show has been on my watch list for many years. Isn't it silly that I have spent many hours watching mediocre shows instead? I think it comes down to attention. I knew this is not one of those shows that I can have playing on the side while I do other things. This one will require my undivided attention. Giving something... anything... your undivided attention is difficult. It's much easier to have something silly playing on the side and browse social media.  The same logic applies to reading books which also requires undivided attention. However, I know, that these experiences are more rewarding and fulfilling.  This is a reminder.. do things that require your undivided attention....just because you can, does not mean, you always have to be multi-tasking..Doing one thing at a time, is a relatively simple concept.
